Hello SMGSA!
We have officially announced our game schedules for all divisions. They can be found on the SMGSA main page, the division page and your players team page. Our 14U division may still have a game or two added per team however, while we are not anticipating any changes, there may be a slight change in some schedules should unforeseen circumstances arise.

In other news, rain is currently expected for this Friday and Saturday, with both day’s having a 90-100% chance. We will do our best to make announcements as early as possible regarding the cancellations of practices, if necessary.

With the launch of our schedule, the diner service sign up’s will be sent out this weekend. As a refresher on the league’s diner service policy…
“The diner at Heasley Field is an essential part of SMGSA, and the diner’s success depends upon parent volunteers. Each family is required to work a two-hour shift per player. A $60 per player deposit was paid as part of registration. Once you work your diner shift at Heasley, the deposit will be refunded. You will have until April 2, 2017, to sign up for a shift. Your diner deposit will be forfeited if you do not sign up for a shift by this date.”

As a reminder, our Team Parent Meeting will be this Thursday, February 16th at 7pm in the Rec Center at Heasley Field. This is a meeting only for the one or two individuals per team that are taking on the volunteer position of “Team Parent”.

Lastly, opening day is a mere two weeks away. There are still a handful of spots available to help out with a booth. Though not affiliated with the diner policy, we rely on volunteers to make this event as fun as possible for our girls.
